Where Family Life and Wanderlust Meet
Storytelling from the space between snack times and skylines.
Welcome to The Letter Between
A Canadian family travel blog for moms trying to find the freedom to explore in the season they’re in — without quitting their day jobs. Here you’ll find travel guides, practical tips, and stories from the in‑between moments — the ones that shape childhood and remind us that wonder doesn’t wait for perfect timing.

Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Emily—a Canadian mom, full-time marketing professional, and big believer in making space for slow, beautiful adventure.
I didn’t take my first international trip until I was 41, but I’ve been dreaming of travel since before I knew what jet lag was.
When I finally set foot in Europe, something shifted. This blog was born from that moment—and from the desire to make meaningful travel part of our family rhythm, not just a once-in-a-lifetime checklist.

What You’ll Find Here
This blog isn’t about living out of a suitcase or chasing every passport stamp. It’s about weaving travel into your real life—as a working mom, as a thoughtful parent, as someone who wants more connection and less pressure.
- Family travel tips that are actually usable (and snack-stained)
- Packing strategies that make life on the road easier (hello, cubes!)
- Reflections on what it means to travel with intention
- A Canadian perspective with a heart set on the world
If you believe travel doesn’t have to be far or fancy to be meaningful, you’re in the right place.
